Agent - Joe Still, CLU, LUTCF 

An agent in the insurance and financial services industry since 1988, Joe has earned numerous awards during his career. Joe is a Chartered Life Underwriter, as well as a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. He is also a current member of both the Million Dollar Round Table* and Texas Leader’s Round Table. Joe has continually been at the top of his profession as evidenced by his earning both the National Sales Achievement and National Quality Awards as well as New York Life’s Centurion, Annuity Champion, and Life All-Star awards.  A graduate of Texas A & M University, Joe is actively involved in his community by having served as President of both the Pineywoods A.I.F.A. and Nacogdoches Jaycees.  He also currently serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for Bancorp South, The Blood Center of East Texas, and the Treasurer of the Nacogdoches Youth Baseball Association.  Joe serves as a Deacon at First Christian Church, and he and his wife Jill, have three sons, Preston, Carson, and Joe Evan, Jr.

Agent - John Richard Still, FSS, LUTCF, CLTC 

Rick entered the life insurance business in June 1979. He was a licensed agent with New York Life for 26 years. He has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table* each year and qualified for the New York Life President’s Council several times. Rick graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with both a Bachelor of Science and Masters degree, with postgraduate studies completed at the University of Houston. He currently teaches part time in the Finance Department of Stephen F. Austin. He also completed the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, LUTCF, and the Financial Services Specialist, FSS, designations offered by the American College; and the Certified Long Term Care, CLTC, designation that The CLTC Board of Standards, Inc. offers. Rick is very involved in his community.  He has been President of the Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau, United Way, Fredonia Rotary, Blood Center Board, and Historic Nacogdoches, Inc,. Rick was also Vice-President, of N.I.S.D. Board of Trustees. He and his family attend First Christian Church where he serves as an Elder and Trustee as well as past Board Chairman. He and his wife Linda have been married for over thirty years and have one daughter, Ricci and a grandson, John Daniel.

Office Manager - Cathy Gateley

Cathy joined Still Financial Group in May of 2009. Cathy oversees all client service related areas, while also managing the office computer network.


Office Assistant - Stephanie Sone

Stephanie joined Still Financial Group in November of 2008. Stephanie handles new business processing while updating clients' records in our computerized systems.
